The Motorola One Zoom, which was previously referred to as the Motorola One Pro, has leaked extensively over the course of the past week. But as it turns out, both names are actually correct.
As revealed by tipster Evan Blass, Motorola’s upcoming smartphone will be marketed across the global under two different names. The specifics of this strategy haven’t yet been confirmed but perhaps markets such as Latin America will know the device as the One Pro while Europe and North America could receive the One Zoom.
An alternative branding strategy could have something to do with the operating system. As confirmed by leaked press renders, Motorola is planning both an Android One model and an Amazon Exclusive variant that’ll ship with Alexa on board and the retailer’s range of apps. The latter will be called the One Zoom which could mean Motorola’s Android One variant will be marketed as the One Pro.
Regardless of the potential branding and software differences, both the One Pro and One Zoom are expected to be identical. The two smartphones will feature a new quad-cam setup on the rear and a 6.2-inch notched display. Additionally, Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 675 is to be expected on the inside alongside 4GB of RAM and 64GB of storage as standard.
