Telus' LG IQ subject of quick video, launch due this holiday season
As we told you the other day, Canadian carrier Telus is on the verge of an exclusive holiday launch of the LG IQ, which is expected to go by the name of LG Monaco when it gets released by AT&T in the states. The IQ has some power under the hood with Qualcomm's 1GHz Snapdragon processor and Windows Mobile 6.5 while LG's S-Class UI is also on board. The QWERTY keyboard is a side slider and the camera is a 5MP unit. There is even a fingerprint sensor on the phone as we are told in the video by some Telus employee who is caught in a conversation with another unnamed individual whose contribution to the whole production is to murmer, "It's beautiful". The Telus employee tells us that this is a holiday launch for his company, so we should hear soon about price. As we have previously written, in an age where a Windows Mobile screen can be as large as 4.3 inches, will buyers feel satisfied with the 3.2 inch touchscreen on the IQ, or have we all become accustomed to a little more real estate on our displays? In its defense, the screen has resolution of 480 X 800 pixels which should allow for crisp and clear images
