It might not be Black Friday yet, but Best Buy is getting the busiest shopping day of the year off to an early start with some online specials. Right now, 18 versions of the Apple iPad 2 are being offered with a $50 discount. The reduced price is available for all 6 Wi-Fi only models, 6 Verizon 3G models and 6 AT&T 3G models.
The least expensive model is the 16GB Wi-Fi version of the tablet which is priced at $454.99 for both the black and white versions of the device. The high end of the price range belongs to the 64GB Apple iPad 2 for Verizon 3G and AT&T 3G, available in both black and white for $784.99. Best Buy is shipping all of the Apple iPad 2 orders for free. With some of the models, Best Buy's discount beats what Apple is offering tomorrow for its Black Friday sale. The Cupertino based manufacturer is taking $41 to $61 off thew price of various iPad 2 variants starting tomorrow.
As of 11am Eastern time, 2 of the models have been sold out. No longer available are the 16GB Black Wi-Fi only Apple iPad 2 in Black and the white 64 GB Apple iPad 2 for Verizon 3G.
