TENAA certifies Oppo A51kc handset
Last month, the Oppo A51 was released with pricing in the range of $234 USD to $257 USD. The A51 features a 5-inch 720 x 1280 resolution screen, with a Snapdragon 410 chipset inside. 2GB of RAM is on board along with 16GB of internal storage, and a 2420mAh battery is employed by the handset. Android 5.1 is pre-installed with Color OS 2.1 running on top.

Now, a lower spec'd version of the phone, the Oppo A51kc, has been certified by TENAA. That is the regulatory agency in China that is similar to the FCC in the states. The A51kc features a 5-inch screen carrying a 540 x 960 qHD resolution. A quad-core 1.2GHz CPU powers the device, and 1GB of RAM is inside. Internal storage amounts to 8GB and is expandable. On back you will find an 8MP camera with a 5MP snapper in front for selfies and video chats. The phone measures 7.65mm thick and weighs 160 grams. It runs on Android 5.1.1 and is available in white.

No word yet on pricing or availability. But if past is prologue, expect the Oppo A51kc to see the light of day sometime soon. The Oppo A51 was launched within weeks after being certified by TENAA.
