Super Bowl 46 app recaps the season for the two combatants, but won't stream the game
While some apps like NFL Mobile will be streaming the Super Bowl live, ironically, the official Super Bowl  46 app will not be carrying the action. The app, which is produced by Verizon but is not exclusive .like NFL Mobile, offers magazine-style articles and lets users see a recap of the season for the New York Giants and the New England Patriots. This is an app not just for the die hard football fan who remembers that fateful opening week when a Pro-Bowl QB named Drew Bledsoe went down with an injury and was replaced by a then-unknown Tom Brady. This app is also intended for those going to the game who want to know the best eateries in Indianapolis, where the nightlife is, and the directions how to get there.

For those not at the game, you can feel as though you have a seat on the 50 as the app gives you a 3D interactive map of Lucas Oil Stadium along with social media updates from fans and superstars alike. And if you are planning on attending Super Bowl 46, the app will enhance your stay in the city.  For those not at the game, perhaps the most exciting thing to look forward to is the new 90 second Samsung ad for the Samsung GALAXY Note LTE that will be played in the fourth quarter of the game.
