Verizon customers using the NFL Mobile Android app will be able to stream Super Bowl XLVI
It only happens once a year, and surely enough, it’s one of the biggest spectacles in all of sports events in the US. But for those who aren’t fortunate enough to be in front of a television for Super Bowl XLVI, which is being held on February 5th in Indianapolis, you can still catch the game on an Android powered smartphone – well, as long as you own one that’s from Verizon’s stable.

Good news for all you gridiron fans out there, that’s because the NFL recently announced that the big game will be streamed on the web and mobile devices. Specifically, for those Verizon customers out there that use the NFL Mobile Android app, they’ll be able to enjoy the entire game. Besides the Super Bowl, other wild-card games and the Pro Bowl will also be streamed for your full enjoyment.

So if you’re working or elsewhere unable to enjoy the game on the big screen, as long as you’re using the app, then you’re all set to watch the game’s festivities. Again, it simply goes to the show the power of smartphones nowadays – they truly are a blessing in disguise at times!
