Sprint goes green as it plans to launch Samsung Restore on June 6th
You might remember that back in April we reported that Sprint was going to offer the Samsung Restore. Now, we have a June 6th launch date for the device which will cost $49.99 after a $50 mail-in-rebate and your signature on a 2 year contract. 27% of the casing is made from post-consumer recycled plastic and 84% of the entire unit is recyclable. You will have a choice of two colors for the SPHm-570, midnight and limeade, and what would a messaging device be without a side-sliding full QWERTY keyboard and a 2MP camera to take pictures of your friends planting trees? The Restore can support microSD cards up to 32GB, allows you to access some of Sprint's services including the Music Store and features the carrier's One-Click UI. And judging from one of the pictures of the handset below, you will be able to watch your favorite videos on the mobile version of YouTube. All that and you will be doing the earth and your fellow man some good.
