About a month after making its US debut, the Sony Xperia XZ1Compact - one of the world's first smartphones to run Android 8 Oreo out of thebox - is now almost $100 cheaper.
Amazon is currently offering the Xperia XZ1 Compact startingat $504.99 - $95 off the phone's launch price ($599.99). Only the black versionof the XZ1 Compact is available for $504.99, while the other three colorverstions - pink, blue, silver - cost $549.99.
Best Buy is discounting the Xperia XZ1 Compact, too, sellingthe phone for $549.99, regardless of color. Best Buy is throwing in a $50 giftcard with each purchase, so you can actually save a total of $100 (of course,that $50 gift card is valid only at Best Buy, but at least you can use itwhenever you want, as it has no expiration date).
Both Amazon and Best Buy are offering the Sony Xperia XZ1 Compactwith US warranty for 1 year. The handset should be a good choice for anyone whodoesn't like large devices, as it sports a 4.6-inch 720p display in a small,water-resistant body.
