Sony Xperia G (D5103) makes appearance on Indonesia's POSTEL site
Indonesia's equivalent of the FCC, POSTEL, just placed the Sony D5103 up on its site. Back in February, the unannounced handset was discovered hanging around the GFX Benchmark database, with specs similar to those on the Motorola Moto G. The D5103 is believed to be the Sony Xperia G, a mid-range model that was leaked back in February.

According to the GFX Benchmark site, the Sony D5103 is reportedly going to be released with Android 4.4.2 under the hood, powered by a quad-core Snapdragon 400 processor with the Adreno 330 handling graphics. The device will carry a 4.8 inch screen with resolution of 720 x 1280. Back and front facing cameras weigh in at 8MP and 1.3MP (or higher) respectively.

Unlike Sony's high-end models, the Xperia G is not expected to be waterproof or dustproof. Perhaps its inclusion on the POSTEL site indicates that a release is coming soon.

Snapdragon 400 with Adreno 330? Which one is typo, Snapdragon 400 or Adreno 330?

Pretty sure the 330 was caused by PA news poster that never proofread stuff. It wouldn't be likely if they'd come with either a SD 800 or a SD 801. The build quality and camera are going to probably drive some costumers away from the Moto G, if priced right.

This is really bizzaare. i thought that Xperia G was renamed to Xperia M2 so the difference between Xperia M2 and Xperia G is only resolution 720P vs 840x960... ? both have same sizes and in same price range and same SOC,cam, this is stupid

ok ok ok got it now,,,, Phonearena you need to update it... and hopefully credit me Xperia G will carry Snapdragon 800 .. and Adreno 330 Xperia G is the successor to Xperia SP this is not supposed to be competing with Moto G.. the competitor to Moto G is Xperia M2 how do i now it has snapdragon 800 because previously antutu benchmark was released as D5303 - 30144 this will most likely carry a 2 gb ram , IPS 720 P display and a high quality 8 Mp cam..

You are very much mistaken brother.... D5303 is the T2 Ultra phablet model number. I think you are getting confused between all those leaked model numbers which is perfectly normal. Also sony xperia sp successor will not carry more then 1 gb ram and 8 mp camera. You can be damn sure of that cause if the ram is 2 gb then it will beat their last year flagships by a huge price margin(considering it will be a mid range phone), which i suppose is not something Sony desires....

lol this time i forgot about T2 ultra model number. yup i seem to be wrong here but that means then the leaked benchmark was wrong with 30k Antutu score.. Xperia SP was a 400 $ smartphone .. So if 400$ ( SP succesor) smartphone has 1 gb ram i don't think it will sell very much .. Xperia T2 ultra is also 400 $ but it also has 13 MP and 6 inch screen .. the new mid range phones are supposed to beat Last year Flagships in performance that's how tech progresses... ofcourse it won't have the premium materials , higher camera , and waterproof features but in performance i would be shocked if it isn't able to match or beat last year flagship phones..

How about the price? Anyway, I'm pretty sure the dimension will be big, considering it's Sony and their bezels. Btw, it's still on "Balai Uji', which means the device is still under test. Only when the certification is printed, then it'll be legal to be sold. Perhaps in between 1 or 2 months?

That would be adreno 305 (not 330). But seeing this one is late for the party they should have used the newer snapdragon 410 64bit with adreno 306. this looks like the middle sibling of the xperia m2 and xperia t2 ultra so price would also indicate that it will be in the middle of those two products which is around $373. Sony doesn't want to compete with Motorola, Asus would be the one doing that with their Zenfone line. If one is taking a look at M2 and G, why not consider buying Z/ZL at same price (price drops) albeit older android version but better performance/features and a nicer camera.
