Sony Lavender to launch next month as the Sony Xperia T4 Ultra?
Back in May, images leaked out showing off a phone called the Sony Lavender with a bezel-less design. Now, a new report has the device coming to market next month as the Sony Xperia T4 Ultra (E5503). This is expected to be the manufacturer's first handset launched without side bezels.

The Sony Xperia T4 Ultra is equipped with a 5.5-inch display, carrying a 1080 x 1920 FHD resolution. That works out to a 401ppi pixel density. Would you like to know what is under the hood driving the new handset? Why, it is the 64-bit MediaTek MT-6752 SoC, which includes an octa-core 1.7GHz CPU and the Mali-T760 GPU. 2GB of RAM is inside, and both the front and rear-facing cameras are 13MP and include an LED flash.

This model offers dual SIM capabilities and will come with Android 5.0 pre-installed. The unit supports 4G LTE connectivity and should be priced in the range of $280 to $300.

Thanks for the tip!

This bezel-less description nonsense is just a marketing lie. When the top and bottom bezel are huge, it's not anything that can be referred to as "bezel-less". The only phone that can somewhat qualify for that description is the sharp Aquos Crystal.

I hope T4 Ultra will be the last phone to have the same OmniBalance design.

As a Sony fan, I agree. The designs were good. Buy rehashing and slightly changing it up didn't make it very special.

Sony's mid-range line up is getting better at specs and pricing.

Just like xperia C3 ...good specs for midrange and good pricing... Sony just needs to re-organise and think out of the box in their flagship line.

The T2 Ultra is already a good mid ranger and I have no doubt that this will also be one.

Sony seems to be using Mediatek chips lately on most of their new mid range phone.

The specs look nice. If they equip it with a large battery it may turn out to be a long lasting monster.

2GB of RAM + 32GB of ROM with that price = Please take my money Sony.
