Skype for Android gets user interface improvements in newest update
Microsoft is back with yet another update for Skype. This time it's the Android application that received some improvements to the user interface.
Although this isn't a major update, Skype users will want to download and install the newest version since it brings quick call options, but also some additional features.
For example, the Skype team has added a new dialer button, but also update the calls tab interface with quick call options, as mentioned earlier. Also, group call now should indicate current active speaker.
According to the developers, the update should also address some issues that Skype users have had in the pas with audio. The official changelog mentions that the update is supposed to resolve some audio routing issues when playing voice messages.
These are all the changes confirmed for the newest update, so if you already have Skype installed on your Android device, you should check for the latest update in the Google Play store.
