SkyDrive for Windows Phone gets bumped up to version 2.0
SkyDrive is one of the biggest advantages for picking Windows Phone as your main platform. The cloud storage by Microsoft offers a vast 25GB of free storage where you can put all kinds of files - documents, pictures, etc. All of that now comes in an updated and much nicer wrapper - SkyDrive for Windows Phone got updated to version 2.0.

Along with the increase in number, there’s a couple of improvements: multi-select tool, UI updates, and new folder permission options are among the main novelties in the new version of SkyDrive. Multi-select allows you to quicker move files around, while managing folder permissions from within the app gives you better control over security.

Other recent changes that we saw with SkyDrive is the support for shorter, easier on the eye URLs. The user interface has also slightly changed in the new version. Check out the new version of the app - it’s available for free on the Windows Phone Marketplace.
