Samsung announces list of its T-Mobile devices getting Android 4.0 update
It was late April when Samsung revealed a list of its U.S. handsets expected to receive the Android 4.0 update. At the time, the Korean based manufacturer revealed a list of its handsets on Verizon, AT&T and Sprint that will be getting that delicious Ice Cream Sandwich. When it came time to list which of Samsung's T-Mobile branded phones would be moving upward to Android 4.0, the tech titan said, "We are in close communication with T-Mobile to ensure that eligible devices are upgraded to Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich in the coming months and will provide updates as we have additional details to share."

Now, nearly a month later, Samsung was ready to announce which of its T-Mobile phones are getting Android 4.0. The list starts with the hugely popular Samsung Galaxy S II (SGH-t989), the Samsung Galaxy S Blaze 4G (SGH-t769), the Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.0 Plus (SGH-t869) and the Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 (SGH-t859). The two handsets and the two tablets were listed on the manufacturer's web site. Unfortunately, no date was announced as to when to expect the actual update to take place.
