Samsung S7070 and S5150 - the first members of the Diva series
Some time ago we reported that Samsung was working on a brand new handset series aimed at ladies. In line with all the rage trends, it´s called "collection" or to be more accurate, the Samsung Diva Collection 2010. The manufacturer intends to launch a new line-up of devices every year and in this particular case, we suspect the cell phones will come in colors and with design elements closely following today´s fashion trends.

The first family members of the Samsung Diva Collection 2010 are the Samsung Diva S7070 and Diva folder S5150. Their full specifications have not been announced yet, but what we know tells us the cell phones will not rely on high-tech features to enchant women, but rather on appearance and build quality. For an instance, the Samsung Diva S7070 will sport touch-sensitive screen (3-inch with WQVGA as the rumor goes) and come in pearly white color. Its 3.2-megapixel camera will feature image flaw detection and removal mode (Beauty Effect) and the phone will come with applications for social networking and chat. All eager shoppers will be delighted by the function called "Wish list" that will help them organize and keep the exhausting process in hand.

The Samsung Diva folder S5150 is a clamshell device with hidden LED screen and cool rugged pattern. Its camera will offer the same shooting modes and effects as the Diva S7070. The preliminary information on the device had it the internal display would measure 2.2 inches and QVGA resolution, but this has not been officially confirmed yet.

The new models of the Samsung Diva Collection 2010 will make their début January and first roll out in the Netherlands, Russia, Ukraine and other European countrie, but will arrive in Asia and China later on. We still don´t have any details on their pricing, but since the emphasis is on their luxurious nature, we don´t really think any of them will be exactly affordable.
