Reminder: You can get a Samsung Gear S3 for just $99 when buying any Galaxy S9

Last month, when Samsung announced two upgraded versions of its Galaxy S9 and Galaxy S9+ smartphones (with 128 GB and 258 GB of storage space), it also revealed a new promotional offer that's available throughout May. The offer is aimed at US customers who are buying a Galaxy S9 or S9+, allowing them to get a Gear S3 smartwatch at a low price, or receive a pair of Gear IconX earbuds for free.

When purchasing any Galaxy S9 or S9+ model, you can add a Gear S3 Frontier watch to your cart for just $99. Normally, a Gear S3 Frontier costs $349.99, so this deal lets you save $250. The offer is available until May 31 via Samsung's official US website - see the source link below - and includes both carrier and unlocked variants of the Galaxy S9 and S9+, regardless of storage space.

While a new and improved Gear S4 watch should be released sometime later this year, if you're in need of a phone and a nice smartwatch right now, Samsung's current deal is definitely worth pondering. Or, of course, you could just get a Galaxy S9 and those Gear IconX earbuds at no extra cost.

Not a bad deal, but I’d avoid the iconix 2018. I sold mine, cause they started giving me nothing but trouble. Constantly disconnecting, and sometimes needing to be forgotten and re paired. They were great, when I first got em in December, but after 2 months, they became very problematic. Subsequent updates, failed to fix the pairing issues, so I put on offer up, and sold them to phone world. Sometimes I’d have them flush in their silo, but they still wouldn’t charge, that was a rare occurrence though.

That's a fantastic deal, as the new IconX 2018 version has gotten rave reviews, and so has the Gear S3. The IconX 2018 version improved upon all the points that the consumers wanted, especially the battery life, which i think tripled or something insane like that, compared to the 2017 version.

The watch probably isn’t the LTE VERSION. It’s not lit if i can’t put it on AT&T.

I read the article thinking you could purchase a s-9 for 520$ and a s-3 watch for 99$. Not according to samsung.
