Samsung Galaxy A7 (2017) specs surface thanks to AnTuTu run-through

Last month, specs for the Samsung Galaxy A7 (2017) showed up on GFXBench. Today, it was AnTuTu where the Galaxy A7 (2017) surfaced, specs in tow. The SM-A720F is equipped with a 1080 x 1920 resolution display, and the Exynos 7870 SoC under the hood. The latter is equipped with an octa-core CPU and the Mali-T830 GPU.

The Galaxy A7 (2017) will come with 3GB of RAM and 64GB of native storage. The model features a 16MP rear-facing camera and a 16MP front-facing camera for selfies and video chats. Android 6.0.1 is pre-installed.

The previous GFXBench benchmark test revealed that the Samsung Galaxy A7 (2017) will sport a 5.5-inch display, and that the octa-core CPU is running at a 1.8GHz clock speed. Last month, we passed along word that a Clear View cover will be made available for the phone. This allows notifications and other content to appear through the closed front flap of the accessory.

What's sad is this is how Samsung gets the title of the most smartphones sold in a quarter by coming out with 25 different models. Another toilet paper product. Samsung should stick to only the S7 and Note's. They try to target both low and high end market. Something has to give.

Most models are s**t but you cant talk s**t about the A5 model. Its an awesome device with an awesome screen. Wanted to buy one this month (im an iphone guy) but started doubting because of the 2gb ram and I heard this model would be released soon. But everything else about the phone is fantastic. This one will get 3gb ram and awesome cameras and I'll buy one for sure even though i dont like the screen getting bigger. 5.2 inch was perfect.
