Samsung brings some Android 9.0 Pie love to the Galaxy A6+, One UI included
The Galaxy A6+ is part of Samsung's last year mid-range series and while it's a decent smartphone, it's far from being a fast and powerful one. Even so, the device is perfectly capable to run Android 9.0 Pie operating system, something that Samsung failed to provide at launch.

However, the issue is about to be addressed since SamMobile reports Android 9.0 Pie is rolling out to Galaxy A6+ units in Europe. Poland seems to be the first country to get it, but these important updates tend to spread to other markets quite fast, so we expect Galaxy A6+ owners across the world to get the update in the coming weeks.

Just like Samsung's flagships that already received the update, Galaxy A6+ will get the new One UI, but also the most recent security patch. If you're using the Galaxy A6+ as your daily driver, make sure you have enough storage since this is a fairly sizeable update (1.3GB).

In our Samsung Galaxy A6+ review, Victor concluded that it's “an elegant and sturdy metal phone with an impressive AMOLED screen with lush colors, very good camera that punches above its weight with impressive portrait shots and some of the best selfies on an affordable phone. It’s also got a solid battery life that helps you get through long, busy days.”

If you plan on getting one right now, we strongly suggest reading the full review to learn more about the Galaxy A6+. Do keep in mind that Samsung is preparing more Galaxy A series phones this year though, so it's probably a bad idea to spend money on last year tech.
