Press pictures of Huawei Honour released

Press pictures of Huawei Honour released
Late last month we reported that the Huawei Honor had been leaked. The Chinese manufacturer has now released some official press pictures, the results of which you can see below. The handset, which so far is not committed to any carrier in the States, will feature a 4 inch touchscreen with a single-core 1.4GHz processor under the hood. An 8MP camera is on back, capturing video at 720p, with AF and flash while a front-facing camera is perfect for self-portraits and video chat. A powerful 1930mAh battery keeps the Huawei Honor humming. Android 2.3 will be on the phone out of the box.

The Huawei Honor, model number U8660, has gone from a leaked spy picture to a series of officially produced press pictures. We can tell from the photos that the model will be available in black and white. Now, all that is missing is carrier availability and pricing information. Until then, we have these pictures to stare at to remind us that the Huawei Honor is coming.

Wow, looks like a decent phone, at least for Huawei, idk about the processor but everything else looks fine, great battery same size as the motorola atrix, it just didn't say the screen resolution, if it has qhd it'll be competing with other big manufacturers which is good for them!

Huawei innovates a lot and it's anything but a iPhone copy. They are just entering this mobile business and hope they do grow because when you look at they're phones it doesn't look like chinese made it. I have one and i'm very happy with it. They have cheap but very nice phones that you can even compare to phones 50$or 100$ more expensive.

I agree they don't look cheap at looks good and the only simultaneity to the iphone is the silver trim around the edges looks like an ipod or a iphone 1g/2g the rest looks like like their last models.i have an ideos x5 and doesn't feel/look cheap at all. they are really stepping up their game with grate prices .. most of iphones parts are supplied by other mobile company's e.g the screens are from LG witch are made in china .
