Porsche Design P'9983 Graphite launched as yet another luxury BlackBerry smartphone
BlackBerry today announced a new version of its luxurious Porsche Design P'9983 smartphone, which has been available to buy in select markets since last year. The new handset is called BlackBerry Porsche Design P'9983 Graphite, and comes with "exclusive graphite-metallic colored elements." Moreover, the Porsche Design P'9983 Graphite doesn't have the glossy back of the older model, instead having "the finest, hand-wrapped leather" on the rear cover.

Other than the exterior changes, the BlackBerry Porsche Design P'9983 Graphite doesn't differ from the original version, offering specs like a full QWERTY keyboard, a 3.1-inch Super AMOLED display with 720 x 720 pixels, a Snapdragon S4 processor, 2 GB of RAM, and 64 GB of internal memory.

BlackBerry says that the Porsche Design P’9983 Graphite will be available to buy in the coming weeks via Porsche Design stores, as well as through select carriers and retailers. It looks like the handset can already be bought from Porsche Design's website (see the second source link below). What about the price? It's the same as the price of the original Porsche Design P’9983: $1,950. Any buyers?

BB why not just a 5 inch display touch screen phone in a rectangular form factor? If you really wanna survive just ditch the physical buttons and huge bezels.

http://www.technobuffalo.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/03/BlackBerry-Glide-2.jpg That's pretty much what the upcoming Blackberry Slider is going to be. Here is a render based on the images from the reveal back at MWC. It should satisfy both touchscreen users and those that prefer a physical keyboard. If you want to just use the touchscreen then you don't have to slide it open.

The PKB is one of the ways they differentiate from all of the other rectangular slabs on the market today. They are selling to the niche group that actually purchases BlackBerry's, and the majority of them want PKB'S. BlackBerry has to shore up and lock down those who are still dedicated purchasing BlackBerry's before they can branch out again to the rest of the consumer market. That's why their focus is mainly aimed at the enterprise market, and small, niche market of consumers which still makes up BlackBerry's installed consumer base, which is about 46 million consumers.

You have got to be kidding me. Blackberry has a out 46 phones in the consumer market not 46 million. They are losing enterprise customers left and right. The current market share is 1.8 percent and the devices are not selling at all. Move on kid to another phone like the Note 4 which owns more market share than BlackBerry combined. This company is going to be sold and bankrupt in the next few years. People in the Enterprise have moved on to Apple and Android

Your proof? Post links to back up your statements. If not, you're just proving my point that you're a troll spreading BS. I can post links. Let's see if you can, but I know you can't.

No proof needed just look at sales. Does not take a genius to figure out that nobody buys these phones

No proof needed? Hahahahahahahahahahaha!! Didn't I call it? Spoken like a true troll that doesn't know a thing about BlackBerry and only goes by handset sales, instead of the software that truly makes BlackBerry dominant in enterprise. You just proved my point about you for me. Thanks!

Blackberry really needs to change it up if they want to survive in this market.

Just start making high end devices using high end material, Makinga couple devices at a time one with a physical keyboard and a touchscreen making the device look, feel and run smooth.... Just saying but good luck Blackberry.

Another Snapdragon S4? How many S4 chip Blackberry have? I really think Blackberry should get serious and produce a Snapdragon 410 or 615 device.

Wow. You created an account 3 hours ago solely to spam BlackBerry articles with your negativity? Dude, you've posted on every recently posted BlackBerry article on PA, and all of it is borderline trolling. That's just sad.

If this company is a joke like you say, then why are you constantly trolling them? You're only making yourself look like a joke with the way you stalk PA for BlackBerry articles to troll.

Looks like you're still trolling and not posting any links to support your FUD, as usual.
