Pantech P9070 chilling at the FCC with AT&T LTE onboard
AT&T is hard at work ramping up its LTE network coverage, and the accompanying device portfolio, and it looks that Pantech won't miss out on the effort.

The Pantech P9070 has appeared at the FCC with AT&T's 850/1900 MHz bands, and its LTE spectrum chunk (4 and 17) for baseband connectivity. Not much else is known about the Pantech P9070 but the tech diagram of the device you see here, so we hope to learn more about it in just few weeks at CES 2012.

It might be something akin to the affordable Pantech Breakout  for Verizon's LTE, or it might be a monster like the Pantech VEGA LTE with its gesture-based UI navigation and HD display.

The company is also expected to unveil an LTE tablet for AT&T, codenamed the Pantech P4100, which was also spotted at the FCC not long ago, and even noticed in some benchmark rankings.
