Affordable LTE-enabled Pantech Breakout lands on Verizon on Sept 22nd
Pantetch Breakout, the latest 4G LTE addition to Verizon’s lineup has been officially confirmed to arrive on Thursday, September 22nd. The 4-inch Breakout might not have the silicon guts to impress, but features a pretty affordable price tag - only $99 when purchased with a two-year contract.

That exact low price might be the reason you’d downplay its looks - the handset is probably the ugliest LTE phone, but let’s face it - including 4G radios seems to add some bulk and inevitably flaw the design. At least that’s the impression one gets from looking at all the current Verizon LTE smartphones.

Going to the spec sheet, we see a 4-inch WVGA screen, while under the hood a 1GHz processor helps run Android 2.3 Gingerbread. For mobile photography, you have a 5-megapixel rear camera capable of capturing 720p videos, while up front there is a VGA snapper, a welcome addition for video conferencing.
