Panasonic unveils 9 new phones

Panasonic announced its new GSM product line-up for the year 2005 at 3GSM World Congress in Cannes, France. It includes:

 

The VS series – slim, clamshell-designed phones with exchangeable covers:

  • VS7:2.5” LCD display with approximately 16 million colors; 2 megapixels camera; 19 mm thick
  • VS3: 2.2” LCD display with approximately 16 million colors; 1.3 megapixels camera

 

The MX series - high-powered, long life batteries that almost double the battery capacity of the VS series:

  • MX7: 2.5” LCD display with approximately 16 million colors; 2 megapixels camera
  • MX6: 2.2” LCD display; 1.3 megapixels camera

 

The SA series – with sporty and active design

  • SA7: 2.5” LCD display; 2 megapixels camera
  • SA6: 2.2” LCD display; 1.3 megapixels camera

 

The SC series

  • SC3: 65k LCD display; VGA (640x480) camera
  • A210: 65k LCD display; ultra-light (68g only)

 

X800 - update to the X700 Series 60 smartphone

  • Dual color displays

  • Built-in VGA camera with flash and video capture

  • Bluetooth

  • Symbian OS, Series 60 UI

  • miniSD memory expansion card slot

  • Office applications - read and edit Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint documents

  • GPRS/CSD high-speed data
