Pair of Vivo handsets receive TENAA certification in China
Not one, but two new Android powered handsets from Vivo have received their TENAA certification in China. The Vivo Y51A and Vivo Y37A should both soon be officially unveiled by the manufacturer. The latter features a 5.5-inch screen with a 720 x 1280 resolution. Under the hood is an octa-core 1.4GHz CPU. 2GB of RAM is inside along with 16GB of expandable internal storage.

An 8MP or 13MP camera will be found on the back of the unit, and a 5MP camera graces the front of the phone for selfies and video chats. The handset offers support for 4G LTE, and comes with Android 5.0.2 pre-installed. The Vivo Y37A will be available in white, and measures 6.9mm thin. The phone tips the scales at 169 grams.

The Vivo Y51A comes with a 5-inch display, carrying a 540 x 960 qHD resolution. A quad-core 1.2GHz CPU drives the handset, which is equipped with 1GB of RAM and 16GB of native memory. Those requiring additional storage can access the 128GB capacity microSD slot that is on board. The camera combo from back to front weighs in at 8MP/5MP, and Android 5.0.2 is pre-installed. Available in white, the Vivo Y51A supports 4G LTE connectivity. It is 7.52mm thin, and weighs 159 grams.

Pricing and availability are sure to be revealed when Vivo takes the wraps off of these two smartphones. As we previously mentioned, this is something that should happen in the near future.
