OnePlus holds two competitions, will invite winners to Hong Kong to "experience" the OnePlus Two

Well, folks, OnePlus is notorious for its contests and giveaways, so sure enough, as the OnePlus Two is coming closer to release, a new volley of such events is to expected. The company is currently holding not one but two simultaneous contests – one for photos, dubbed "Photo Mania 2015", and one for video, named "Your OnePlus Story"

The first contest requires entrants to submit an un-edited and un-filtered photo via Instagram (be sure to hold on to that original JPEG or RAW, as it will be required, should you reach the finals). The image must be snapped with an OnePlus One, of course. Finalists will be chosen based on Instagram likes and “technical ability”. The one winner from the contest will be selected by the OPO community via voting.

The second contest's rules dictate that entrants need to record a video of themselves explaining why they love the OnePlus One, and what they would like to see in the OnePlus Two. The videos are to be filmed in at least 1080p and to be uploaded on YouTube. 10 finalists will be picked by OnePlus employees. One final winner will then be voted for by the community, while a second winner will be drafted out from the 10 finalists by OnePlus.

So, 3 winners in total, both contests combined. These people will have the chance to take an all-expenses-covered trip to Hong Kong and “experience” the OnePlus Two for the first time. They will also get to play a “pivotal role” in an upcoming project, tied to the OnePlus Two launch. Knowing how the company works – we'd guess they will be showcased or take part in the promotion for other contests down the road. After all, OnePlus does tend to spend its time stirring controversy with weird giveaways and invitation-based sales, more than actual marketing campaigns.

Will you be taking part? You'd better hurry, as entries will be acceptet until the 15th of June.
