More OnePlus 5 photos leak out, cases and retail box included

Since OnePlus couldn't - and didn't - want to keep too many secrets about the OnePlus 5, its upcoming flagship phone, we know quite a lot about the device. The handset will come with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 processor, a dual rear camera à la iPhone 7 Plus, and an overall design that also makes us think about Apple's 5.5-inch iPhone.

Shortly after we've seen what appear to be renders showing the front and back of the OnePlus 5, we can now check out another set of photos that seemingly present the upcoming phone in (and out of) its retail box. It's not clear what the exact origin of the photos is, but it looks like they come from a Twitter user who somehow already owns a OnePlus 5.

These new photos also allow us to check out four protective rear cases - including wood and bamboo models - that will likely be released alongside the OnePlus 5. We assume that at least one of these rear shells will be offered for free to OnePlus 5 buyers, but that remains to be seen.

The official OnePlus 5 announcement event will be live streamed tomorrow, June 20, when we should find out more details about the smartphone, including information related to price and availability. Stay tuned!
