OnePlus 5 JCC+ limited edition can now be purchased online, but there's a catch
Looking to buy a nice new OnePlus 5? If that's the case, you might be interested to know that the Chinese manufacturer is now selling a limited edition of its 2017 flagship.
The OnePlus 5 JCC+ edition which is designed by fashion designer Jean-Charles de Castelbajac is now available for purchase online. There is a catch, however - the stylish handset is only available to European markets through the OnePlus.net website.
If you happen to be living in Europe, you can currently order one for €559 EUR/£499 GBP (about $670), which is equal to the price of the regular version with 8GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage.
Hardware-wise, the JCC+ edition is absolutely identical to the original model - you get the same Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 SoC, 16 + 20MP dual rear camera, 8GB RAM, 3,300 mAh battery, and so on.
However, there is a noticeable difference in terms of design. The JCC+ edition features writing on the back, a blue power button, yellow mute/vibrate button, and a red volume rocker. The special version of the OnePlus 5 first hit the shelves on September 22nd during a pop-up event at the Colette fashion boutique in Paris.
Additionally, OnePlus is also selling custom merchandise such as limited edition t-shirts, tote bags, caps, and holsters, all designed by Jean-Charles de Castelbajac.
