O2 to launch Toshiba's TG01 this summer as an exclusive in Germany

The feature heavy Toshiba TG01 will be coming to Germany this summer as an exclusive of O2, according to a press release issued by the carrier. The TG01 is equipped with a 4.1 inch touchscreen, and is the first device to run Qualcomm's speedy1GHz Snapdragon processor. The handset is also equipped with GPS, and 3G connectivity on a single chip. Other features include Wi-Fi, and a 3.2MP camera. Besides using gestures to control the device, the phone has been designed for single-hand use as a tilt to the left or a tilt to the right will allow the handset to do specific functions and calls are answered by shaking the phone. So while we can expect the TG01 to hit Germany this summer, pricing is still not known. Before too long, we should hear from other carriers in other countries regarding this device.
