Nougat update delayed until May for Moto X Style, X Play, X Pure and X Force in Germany

The other day, we told you that a tweet from the official Twitter account belonging to Motorola Germany revealed some bad news. The Android 7.0 update for the Moto Z Play in the country was being delayed until March. At the same time, the Nougat update for the German versions of the Moto G4, Moto G4 Plus and Moto G4 Play was being pushed back to mid or late February. Both the Moto Z Play and the Moto G4 family were supposed to have received the update at the end of January.

Another Tweet disseminated by Motorola Germany reveals that the Android 7.0 update is also being delayed for the Moto X Style, Moto X Play, Moto X Pure and Moto X Force. These four Moto X models may not receive Android Nougat until May. Like the Moto Z and Moto G4 units, the Moto X Pure was supposed to be updated in late January.

HTC is also running into problems in mainland Europe with the update. While HTC is blaming technical problems for its issues, Motorola Germany has yet to give an explanation for the delays that are preventing its phones from receiving the Android 7.0 update.
