Nokia demoes Ovi Maps SR6 at CTIA (video)
At CTIA 2011, Nokia kindly demonstrated for us the latest version of its navigation software – Ovi Maps SR6, running on T-Mobile's Nokia Astound. Key improvements from its predecessor were shown off, including the live traffic updates functionality, and the ability to download map data over Wi-Fi for an area of your choice. A selection of widgets for the application has also been made available, along with the option to record your own voice for use with turn-by-turn navigation.
