Nokia Ovi Suite 2.1 adds Ovi.com contacts sync & media transfer
Maybe going a little bit unnoticed from all the other Nokia announcements, the deployment of Nokia Ovi Suite 2.1.0.87 got the green lights yesterday as it started to trickle down to Nokia Ovi Suite users. It'll actually pop up automatically to notify you that an update is available once you run the application on your computer. There are some new features and improvements in this latest update – such as the inclusion of Ovi.com contacts sync, video transfer & playback, and device application updates for things like Maps. In addition, users probably have seen the recent support for Mozilla Thunderbird for contacts sync. On top of the improvements they've made with the latest version, there are also a lot of bug fixes that patch up some minor issues with the program. Developers of the application are constantly fine tuning it to provide an intuitive experience for users to sync their devices properly.

And it still sucks. I really don't think Nokia wants to listen to its beta testers. This needs to be more like the old PC Suite. Still no way to view or edit your calendar from the program, no access to Ovi Store. Still not that great at all.
