Nokia E72 now available for purchase
Nokia has informed us today that the E72 is now available in stores. The Finnish manufacturer tells us that the handset is designed for those who need to saty in communication, no matter where they are. With the E71 being Nokia's most successful full QWERTY keyboard device, desktop style e-mail and chat have been added to the new model. The new device is equipped with A-GPS navigation and a compass, a 5MP camera, blazing fast 10.2Mbps HSDPA, an optical navi key and the latest version of Ovi Maps. Nokia Messaging allows for Push e-mail support with multiple e-mail accounts and IM's can be set up directly from the homescreen.

In putting together the E72, Nokia commissioned a survey that found that 46% of people would rather use e-mail over voice or texts to send or receive important information. Nearly half of E-mail users respond to first messages from their "Significant Others" (49%) over bosses or managers (29%), colleagues (23%) and even customers (31%). Now that we got that important info out of the way, we can tell you that the phone costs 350 EUR, approximately $525 USD.

"blazing fast 10.2Mbps HSDPA"... WTF? Sweet Technology, but where in America are you gonna find this? T-Mobile claims 21Mbps- somewhere down the road, and no way with AT&T... so where?

Ha! I hope you realize I am saying that this sweet phone can't be used to it's full potential in the US... at least not for now.

yea, you'd have to wait for LTE to hit the big carriers...
