Nokia Booklet 3G expected to hit Best Buy around mid-November for $299
After one of our tipsters managed to get a clear eye view of Nokia's Booklet 3G full going price of $600, Nokia has finally let the cat out of the bag with an announcement. Not only are they partnering with Best Buy, the exclusive seller of Nokia's first netbook, but they're going to offer it for $299 on a two year contract with AT&T's service. They're bringing it to all Best Buy locations and as well as 50 Best Buy Mobile standalone stores across the country – expect orders for it to start happening on October 22 when Microsoft's Windows 7 is expected to be released. Consumers won't get their hands right away on Nokia's Booklet 3G until around mid-November. If you do plan on taking up the special offer with AT&T, as opposed to buying it full price for $600, just expect on paying $60 per month for your broadband connection. Maybe the full price option might not look as bad now when comparing to the long term cost with a contract?
