Nokia 9 PureView arriving in the U.S. on March 3, it's $100 cheaper
Nokia 9 PureView was unveiled early this week alongside two affordable smartphones – Nokia 3.2 and Nokia 4.2. Finnish company HMD Global announced its new flagship, the Nokia 9 PureView will be available in the United States as well but didn't offer an exact release date.

Well, that's not the case any longer since HMD has just confirmed the Nokia 9 PureView will be available for purchase in the U.S. from March 3. But that's not the only good news. The flagship will be up for sale for a promotional price of just $600, $100 cheaper than the MSRP.

In case you're wondering from where you'll be able to order one, we're happy to inform you the new Nokia flagship will be available at Best Buy (in stores and online), Amazon and B&H. However, it's worth noting that the promotion will only last until March 10, after which time the Nokia 9 PureView's price will return the previously announced value of $700.

For your information, the Nokia 9 PureView is the world's first smartphone to feature five camera array with ZEISS Optics. Also, the smartphone ships with Android One on board, which means it will receive at least three years of monthly security updates and two years of OS updates.

Make sure to check out our hands-on article for more information (and pictures) about the new Nokia flagship, especially if you plan to order one when it goes on sale in the US early next month.

Oneplus will be sweating reading this news. These 7 days will definitely make 6T buyers think twice.

Agreed. This lower price, albeit temporary, with what the Nokia 9 Pureview has to offer, makes it a fantastic buy that would make any flagship smartphone owner of a different brand think twice.

Been trying to not buy so many phones but damn this is tempting. Haven't "liked" a phone since my 1520...

I don't know. I wouldn't count the 6T out yet. The Pureview didn't really wow me that much. I don't think I'll be copping that jawn.

Everybody knows you weren't even giving this a chance anyway. You've said it already before on previous posts.

$500 would be a better price.

For all that you might get from this phone including possibly the best camera performance this year, the price is justified. It has specialized hardware that no other phone has as of last year or this year at least.

That doesn't necessarily mean anything to the average person. But the price should be more than enough at least in the beginning.

Exactly. Totally agree. Even the average person will understand this, as average consumers focus on things like good camera performance.

For what this smartphone has and what it will possibly do for smartphone photography in the way of advancing it, the price is justified.

I guess you can never please anyone. Giving a 100 off right off the bat is a good deal for this phone.

Wow March 3 is so fast. If Best Buy has some in stores next week I'll definitely have to get my hands on one and check it out for myself before pulling the trigger but I really want this bad boy.

Awesome! I’m loving how short the time was between the official unveiling and the official release to the public. The Nokia 9 Pureview is one of the best smartphone releases of the year, and the year is just getting started. I’ve been looking at camera comparisons between the N9PV and the Galaxy S10 and iPhone XS Max on YouTube, and it’s more than holding its own against them. Can’t wait to get my hands on one!

Wow... Sadly no news for availability in Asian market

I’m pretty surprised by that, as Asian markets are usually among the first that HMD launches its Nokia branded smartphones in. I will say, though, that this discount and early U.S. availability further puts a damper on those saying that HMD has been “ignoring the U.S. market”.

I hope they'll be nothing wrong with this phone in the coming months. I smell something fishy

That Razer phone is a beast. Honestly I wouldn't mind copping that jawn.

Nokia 9 would be the jawn I’d cop.
