Nintendo's first mobile app, Miitomo is officially dead
Nintendo announced back in January that its first mobile app, Miitomo will be discontinued effective May 9. Since today is the day, Nintendo issued an official statement to thank the millions of fans for using Miitomo since the app's launch.

If you haven't yet saved your Miifotos on your smartphone until now, you will no longer be able to access them. Also, all themed icons and clothing items that you got in Miitomo and used on the Nintendo Account or the Super Mario Run game will no longer be available after today.

Nintendo also announced that while Mii characters can be transferred to Nintendo Accounts by linking it to Miitomo, their personality and other info will not be saved.
