New J.D. Power stats put Apple and Nokia smartphone satisfaction on top at AT&T
On the heels of AT&T grabbing the coveted number 1 spot in customer satisfaction recently, Nokia continues to improve its position against the big competitors in the field. In AT&T’s case, Nokia is second only to Apple, whose satisfaction score essentially did not move.

Samsung is right on Nokia’s tail though, scoring just one point behind the Finnish wonder in the process. Smartphone rankings were based on overall satisfaction relative to the carrier as well, with smartphone customers expressing the highest satisfaction with AT&T, followed by Sprint, T-Mobile and Verizon.

It gets more interesting though, as Apple iPhone owners indicated higher satisfaction levels with Verizon versus the competition. While Apple is tops with the two largest carriers in the US, Samsung holds that distinction amongst T-Mobile and Sprint.

Nokia did not rank on Verizon which is odd because based on some indicators we have seen activity from AdDuplex indicating a strong showing for Big Red in the Windows Phone sphere. Apple places second behind Samsung with Sprint and did not rank with T-Mobile.

One the whole it is an indicator that the major OEMs are really on their A-game. LG is second behind Samsung with T-Mobile, and HTC is holding its own in the top three or four with all the major carriers. What are you using and are you happy with it?
