New A.I. Watch runs Android 4.0.4, has embedded 3G radio
Ever since Pebble raised all that money on Kickstarter, other timepieces have tried to follow in its footsteps. The latest watch to turn to crowd-sourced funding is the A.I. Watch. On IndieGoGo, the watch has raised $7447 and the company is seeking $100,000. Only 39 days are left for the watch to reach the funding goal. Right off the bat, we need to tell you that this is not the typical smartwatch that pairs with a smartphone using Bluetooth.

Instead, the A.I. Watch actually has an embedded radio and Android 4.0.4 installed. A dual-core 1.2GHz processor puts some bite into the watch, which actually is a full functioning smartphone. You have access to the Google Play Store and there will be a number of health, fitness and sports related apps. Make and take calls and even watch YouTube streaming over the watch face.

The A.I. Watch will be available in blue, yellow, pink, green, black and white. The price of the A.I. will be more than $279, but $179 will get you an early bird special with shipping expected in December. Is this what the Samsung Galaxy Gear should have been more like? The A.I. Watch even has its own personal assistant which you can check out in the second video below. As you might imagine, the smartwatch is water resistant.
