Netflix for Windows Phone 8 gets update, but still no user profile
While those Netflix viewers with Android and iOS have been able to set up individual user profiles, that feature has not yet been made available to Windows Phone 8 users. While a minor update for the streaming video site was released for Microsoft's mobile OS on Friday, it did not include the ability for each household user to set up his or her own profile. This means that Netflix recommendations on Windows Phone are based on the viewing habits of the entire family.
Windows 8 users with Netflix have had support for user profiles since October and just last week, Android users received an update that included the feature. It might not seem like a big deal, but many Netflix users would rather that everyone in the family not know which movies and television shows they are watching.
So what has changed in version 3.4.0.15 of Netflix for Windows Phone? Apparently just bug fixes considering that the Windows Phone Store hasn't listed a changelog. Hopefully, the next Netflix update for Windows Phone will include the ability to set up a user profile.

Many of you might not remember that Netflix originally got its start renting physical DVDs that came to subscribers via their mailbox. The company has embraced the mobile world about as well as any company has and now offers its own original programming. Orange Is the New Black, a comedy set in a woman's prison, is about to start its second season after a critically acclaimed first year.
