NVIDIA resumes SHIELD TV Android 8.0 Oreo rollout
One month ago NVIDIA announced that it has kicked off the rollout of Android 8.0 Oreo for SHIELD TV. Unfortunately, something went terribly wrong and NVIDIA was forced to halt the deployment of the update after just one day.

It looks like it took the company almost a month to fix whatever was wrong with the update, but if you own a SHIELD TV, you'll soon be able to download Android 8.0 Oreo. According to NVIDIA, SHIELD Upgrade Experience 7.0 is rolling out today for all users and, hopefully, it won't be halted again for whatever reason.

In case you don't remember or missed our previous report, SHIELD Upgrade Experience 7.0 brings a brand new home screen, the option to organize your favorite apps into a TV guide style layout, a bunch of new games, as well as the latest monthly Android security updates.

Other enhancements like quick access to Settings, support for high polling rate gaming mice for NVIDIA GameStream, and improved support for game controllers have been added too. you can find the full list of changes at the source link below.
