Motorola announced new 3G phones


Motorola continues its announcments about new devices. In addition to the three mid-range V series  and the two higher-end phone PEBL V6 and SLVR V8, Motorola also anounced three new 3G WCDMA phones.

Motorola E1060 - quad-band WCDMA and GSM device with 1.3 mega pixel camera for still pictures and VGA camera for video calls. It be out sometime in Q4

  • 2 inch, 240 x 320 pixles display with 262,000 colors

  • 32 MB of embedded memory and up to 512 MB TransFlash removable memory
  • Streaming audio and video, video and audio capture and playback with support for MPEG4, WMV/WMA and MP3 files


Motorola E1120 - is Motorola's first 3 mega pixel phone with auto-focus lens. Scheduled to be released Q4.

  • 3 mega pixel camera with 8x digital zoom, auto-focus lens and 30 Lux lamp
  • 240 x 320 pixel display

Motorola A1010 - Symbian 7 with UIQ 2.1 smartphone with WCDMA and GSM support. Expected to be available in Q4
