Moto Z3 Play: yeah or nah?

Motorola revealed its new Moto Z — the Moto Z3 Play. A MotoMod-supporting, shiny metal-clad, widescreen phone that looks in line with top-tier competitors that came out in 2018.

It is, however, a midrange phone. With an octa-core, 1.8 GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 636 processor, it can't brag about being the most powerful phone out there, but it should certainly feel snappy enough. There's also a solid 4 GB of RAM and 64 GB of internal memory — not too shabby at all! And yeah, we have the dual camera module at the back with the trendy portrait mode and a baked-in cinemagraph feature.

But then, there's the price. With a $499 price tag on it, the Moto Z3 Play will probably raise some eyebrows and have some customers ask themselves "Why go midrange?", when there are flagship phones not very far off from that price point.

So, it's off to you — what do you think of the Moto Z3 Play?

With those specifications disappoint at that price that z3 play. A g6 plus motorcycle is cheaper and is a great mid-range.

I think its fine except the battery could've been bigger if they didn't make the phone so thin

Not interested but only because Z3 force is coming soon. Never seen so much hype for a mid-ranger. Where mah flagships at!?!?

the price is a joke so no I'm not interested also the absence of the headphone jack is a no go for me I would rather spend another 30$ and get one plus 6 base model which is in my opinion 2x the device and absolutely wroth it

For the price you could get a Asus Zenfone 5z for $499 or the Honor View 10 for $499.

Not interested, but it's not the specs or the price. The Zs are just bigger than I want.

It comes with an almost bezel less 6.01" AMOLED full HD+ 18:9 display.

That is true about the display but still too big for my personal preference.
