Mobile App that spoofs CallerID and your voice
Ever wish you could spoof your CallerID, so it would show up as another number, or alter your calling voice? If so, then you may want to checkout the new BluffMyCall app in the Android Market, as well as for BlackBerry and Jail Broken iPhone. It is free to try (with calls limited to 2 minutes), so we downloaded it on a Motorola DROID. We entered in the phone number to call and the fake CallerID number to be shown. Sure enough, the phone we were calling displayed the spoofed CallerID number, but after 2 minutes you are disconnected. Unfortunately, the voice altering is not on the free version. The only way around this limit is to purchase time credits from the company, which ranges from $10 for 60 minute credits, $29.99 for 1 month unlimited, up to $299 for a 1 year full subscription. Other benefits include recording calls, straight to voicemail (going right to the person's mobile voicemail), call notes, and phonebook. Current Android phones that are supported include the Motorola CLIQ, DEXT and DROID, Acer Liquid A1, HTC Dream G1, Hero, Magic and Tattoo,  LG Eve GW620, Samsung Galaxy i7500, and T-Mobile G1.
