Lucky Charm owners to have rear touchpad?
They might not be magically delicious, but the Motorola Charm is certainly another fresh face carrying Google's open source OS. There is still no word on which build of Android the handset will have under the hood when launched by T-Mobile, most likely later this month. One interesting note, it appears that the phone will have a rear touchpad similar to what is found on the back of the Motorola Backflip over at AT&T. The device also features a portrait facing physical QWERTY keyboard. Those who have had a chance to play with the Charm say that the screen measures about 3 inches. Besides the phone itself trickling into the stores, some promotional material has arrived with the Basil Project name. The Basil name is an alternative moniker for this phone which, as we recently reported, will be apparently offered for free during a Back to School promotion, the date of which is unknown. Outside of a special offer, the Charm is expected to cost $74.99 after a $75 mail-in-rebate and your signature on a two-year contract.
