Latest Motorola DROID Turbo leak includes peek at its box
The Motorola DROID Turbo is one of the most, if not the most, anticipated handsets due out before the end of this year. With a rumored 5.2 inch screen and a 1440 x 2560 resolution, the phone will sport a jaw-dropping 565ppi pixel density. The rest of the specs are also rumored to be high-end, including the quad-core 2.7GHz Snapdragon 805 CPU and the Adreno 420 GPU. 3GB of RAM will be inside with 32GB of native storage on board. A 20.7MP camera will be on the back and a 3900mAh battery will allow the phone to run for two days on a single charge. One of the main features of the device will be the ability to get 8 hours of battery life after just 15 minutes of charging.

A new series of pictures was leaked on Saturday, with the boxing for the phone included. As you can see, this phone, like all Motorola DROID models, is a Verizon exclusive although there is talk about a non-DROID branded model for other carriers.

The excitement is building for the Motorola DROID Turbo, which is expected to get introduced before the end of this month. You might have to go back to 2011 when the Motorola DROID Bionic was released, to find the last time a Motorola DROID branded handset received as much anticipation as the DROID Turbo has.

Will the turbo charger work on other phones?? By work I mean charge fast

Not likely, you would probably ruin the battery of that device, as it would be too much wattage. The charging circuit would also probably also not gamely that load.

it should work better than any other charger for any phone with a SD800 and supports Quick Charge 2.0.

There are apparently others phones besides those with the SD800 chips that supports QC2. Here's a link for all devices. https://www.qualcomm.com/products/snapdragon/devices/all

^This. There's a ton of phones this will "turbo charge", it all depends on the chips. I'm interested in this phone, but more so on the charger and how well it will get along with my Moto G.

This phone is overrated ! I do not know why many tech sites (the verge,...) overestimate the Moto X 2014 and Droid Turbo...I still see them as catching up with big players in the industry but not really a real success...Not many people out there use a Moto phone. I only see I phones...iPhone...Galaxies..and even LG...but not a single Moto phone...lol

Moto has been selling more phones lately than you think. On a side note, the near-stock UI on Motorolas is far nicer than Touch Wiz, Sense, and all these nasty, bloated skins. I always gave props to Moto on innovation, but sometimes quality could be shoddy (especially back in the day...a Nokia 282 was leaps and bounds better than a StarTac). Google did a great job cutting all the fat and adding QC after the acquisition, I just hope Lennovo keeps with it once they start driving the wagon.

So the only phones of value are the ones everyone uses? "Hey everyone, don't use the phone that may have better specs or what suits your needs better, use what everyone else is using. That's what everyone else does." So by that logic, the best cars in the world are Honda Civics, Toyota Camrys, and Ford Tauruses.

Can't wait. Still looks nothing like the renders we've seen, but i will make a final judgement once i get to hold the device myself. So far.....55% droid turbo.....45% nexus 6.

Agreed, looks kinda chubby compared to those renders... Guess it might have to be with a 3900

3900mAh battery in 5.2'' display, this will gonna be super thick.

The Droid Maxx was only 8.5 mm thick with a 3500 mAh battery and a 5" display, I would expect this to be about the same.

Why bother talking a phone made only for Verizon when this specs should be on the NEXUS.
