LG's new promo will get you a free spare leather back and battery if you buy a G4 in July

LG seems determined to keep its newest flagship – the G4 – in the back of potential customers' minds it seems. The company has shown no small amount of generosity, running various promotional offers, giving away gifts with every purchase of the new device.

Well, starting today, and continuing up until the 31st of July, if you buy an LG G4 in the US, you will get a spare battery, a cradle to charge it in, and a leather back in the color of your choice (out of 5) – all for free. What the customer needs to do to get the freebie package is to buy an LG G4 from an eligible store (AT&T, Sprint, T-Mobile, Verizon, US Cellular, Best Buy, or Amazon.com) before the 31st of July and register their receipt on LG's website before the 15th of August.

Certainly a great way to underline two of the phone's strengths – the removable battery, and the ability to switch back covers for different occasions. The colors to choose from for the freebie cases are yellow, pink, blue, orange, and red – some good picks for the ones who like their handset to stand out.

It is yet unclear whether the promo is valid only for the leather back variant of the G4 (the wording on LG's website makes feel as if it is) or both the leather and the "regular" ones. We have sent an inquiry to LG and will update this article accordingly when we get an answer.
