LG has announced on Monday that it will unveil its Watch Urbane luxury smartwatch at MWC 2015 in Barcelona. The Android Wear powered timepiece will feature an all-metal body and will be available in both gold and silver finishes. While it keeps the same 1.3-inch P-OLED display (320 x 320 resolution with a 245ppi pixel density) as the LG Watch R, the LG Watch Urbane has a narrower bezel and a thinner profile.

The stitched leather band can be replaced by any 22mm wide strap and the Watch Urbane is equipped with a photoplethysmography sensor that measures the user's heart rate and pulse during exercise. Extending the life of the 410mAh battery is an always-on ambient display that shows the time with dimmed lighting.

The watch offers 512MB of DDR2 RAM and 4GB of native storage. A 1.2GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 is under the hood and the watch has IP67 certification for dust and water resistance. LG says that pricing will be announced in local markets at the time that the watch is available.

This just looks so bland.

It looks like you can change the bands as well. So you could replace the leather band with a metal version instead. Just like the Moto 360. One thing I love about the Moto 360 is the bezel is so tiny. It looks like a new Android Wear watch face for these devices as well. I hope this watch has wireless charging like the Moto 360.

No chance since LG said its all metal
For wireless charging it needs a plastic back, like on the 360 or Apple Watch

Unless if it has made a new method of wireless charging

Exactly. You couldn't say it's ugly, it's just that it lacks the "wow" factor.

it looks very boring but I would expect luxury so-called SmartWatch to have better performance its the same battery and CPU as the rest

I think it looks more elegant than Apple watch.

Me too. Apple Watch looks cheap and weird, Zenwatch and G Watch copycat.

But strangely enough I find that the concave chronograph-type bezels of the G Watch R, which many find cheesy, actually gives personality to the design. This watch seems to me a bit too generic. Like a white box, luxury wannabe product.
Still much nicer than the completely overhyped, miniature-iPhone-on-a-strap Apple Watch.

Apple Watch-level pricing, I bet.

Could be my memory playing tricks on me but the Audi LG watch with web OS looks way better than this. Why couldn't they just use that design?

Even that design had ugly looking lugs but this one seems way bigger. Maybe this will look a lot better with a steel bracelet that might help hide those ugly lugs.

I think the moto 360, G watch R, and Zen watch all look better than this.

Yea I'm pretty sure its the same as the Audi LG watch
Just Android Wear instead of WebOS
