LG Mini GD880 officially launches with HTML 5 capable Phantom Browser
With more people using their mobile phones to surf the web on the go, the recently announced LG Mini GD880 is making web browsing one of its main highlighted features. Officially launched today and bound for the European markets, the LG Mini GD880 is the first feature phone out of LG's camp to pack the HTML 5 capable Phantom Browser – which essentially offers a faster and stable web browsing experience. Easily standing its own ground among the vast web browser offerings out there, the Phantom Browser is Webkit based that also allows up to 10 windows to be opened at the same time. Additionally, it offers an improved JavaScript and Flash performance to really compliment the sheer depth of experience that accompanies the browser. For those who forgot about this handset, the LG Mini itself features a 3.2” touchscreen, 5-megapixel camera, Wi-Fi, aGPS, FM radio, and 7.2Mbps HDSPA connectivity. Finally, users can expect a decent social networking experience while LG Air Sync allows information and data to be synced over the air to a computer, phone, or the web – basically if the phone is lost or stolen, you'll still be able to access important data from any computer.
