Is this the Nokia EOS: images leak out, compare it against Lumia 920
The elusive Nokia EOS has finally leaked out and this looks like the real deal. The Nokia EOS (or Lumia EOS, or whatever the Finns call the device) looks almost exactly like the Nokia Lumia 920 save for a large hump on the back for the rumored mind-blowing 41-megapixel camera.

As you can see, the Nokia EOS will be built in the same design language with the pillow shape and apart from the camera hump is no thicker than Nokia’s Lumia 920 flagship. The 41-megapixel camera should allow for non-destructive zooming and the phone should also have a powerful Xenon flash.

It seems the handset will also support wireless charging, and there are whispers even about variable aperture on the camera.

The Nokia EOS release date is said to be July 9th and if true the official unveiling should happen very soon. Chances are the device will launch as an exclusive on AT&T first.

I doubt it. They're can't see past the enormous piles of iPhones they sold their soul for.

Looks real. I wonder what's with the massive camera island though, particularly the empty space beside the lens. Perhaps there's new Pureview tech under there? Also I'm a bit disappointed it has the same design as the 920. Still, I'm very excited for EOS.

There are certain physical minimums that dictate the size of the enclosure. I doubt Nokia created a hump just to have continuity between the 808 and the L-EOS.

Finally, the real deal. No surprises, looks like a 920 with a ginormous camera hump.

So what do you want to see? A phone looks like your shoe!!....I think you prefer same design of samsungs's or iphone's....

I prefer something a little different. The 928 is a good mix of sharp lines and smooth curves, with that characteristic Nokia camera strip. This looks like a round camera hump grafted onto last year's phone. Not a bad thing, but nothing new design wise.

"This looks like a round camera hump grafted onto last year's phone." Let's hope that this time it won't be like it was with Nokia 808 PureView, new camera + old, outdated phone.

It sounds like another 920 variant spec-wise. So we're looking at another 1.5 Ghz S4+, 1 GB, 32 GB storage, WXGA ClearBlack OLED.

Any word on whether it'll also come with OIS? I'd like a Lumia with both the 41MP sensor and OIS built in. That would be the ultimate smartphone camera combo.

No OIS would be a bit of a FAIL, IMO.

Better put 3000mAh inside such a big body. I would not have problem carrying it around if for the size compromise if I got 2 days usage.
