HydrogenOS coming to China May 28th for OnePlus One
OnePlus, which released its Lollipop-tinged OxygenOS last month for the OnePlus One, is unveiling a version of the OS for the Chinese market under the name HydrogenOS. OnePlus was forced to create OxygenOS when Cyanogen, which originally powered the OnePlus One, entered into an exclusivity deal in India with Micromax. Originally Micromax pressed the issue and a court temporarily banned the OnePlus One in India. But Micromax recently withdrew the suit after OnePlus and Cyanogen formally ended their partnership.

Cyanogen said last week that it would continue to support the OnePlus One, which recently received the latest version of Cyanogen 12, backed by Android 5.0. The HydrogenOS will include different colors and added animations in line with the Material Design of Android 5.0. The HydrogenOS will apparently be officially announced starting on May 28, according to an invitation sent out by OnePlus.

Thanks for the tip!
