Huawei intros Watch GT Active and Elegant smartwatches, promises long battery life
Alongside the P30 and P30 Pro, Huawei revealed two new smartwatches that refresh the company's wearables lineup: Huawei Watch GT Active and Huawei Watch GT Elegant. The former offers similar specs as the original Huawei Watch GT, but its body is slightly different.

You can expect the same 2-week battery life that Huawei Watch GT offers, but if you plan to get the Elegant model, keep in mind that this one offers just 7 days of battery life on a charge. The Huawei Watch GT Active features a bigger 46mm case, while the Watch GT Elegant comes in a smaller 42mm casing.

Both smartwatches include GPS, Bluetooth, accelerometer, gyroscope, magnetometer, optical heart rate sensor, ambient light sensor, and a barometer. They also feature 5ATM water resistance.

In order to obtain the advertised 2-week battery life, you'll have to turn on heart-rate monitoring for just 90 minutes each week, otherwise, you'll have to charge the Huawei Watch GT Active on a weekly basis or even more often than that.

If you plan to buy one of Huawei's new smartwatches, you'll have to come up with €249 for the Watch GT Active or €229 for the Watch GT Elegant. They should be available on the market in the coming weeks and will work with all phone running Android 4.4 or later, and iOS 9 or newer.
