Huawei CRR-UL00 certified by TENAA could be the Mate 7 mini/Plus or the Mate 7S
A tweet from Steve Hemmerstoffer revealed today that the Huawei CRR-UL00 has been certified by TENAA in China. That model number has come up in connection with a phone called the Huawei Mate 7 mini or the Huawei Mate 7 Plus. And there is some speculation, based on a teaser posted by a Huawei executive, that the actual name of the phone will be the Huawei Mate 7S.

The one thing that ties all of the speculation together is the expected unveiling of the phone on September 2nd at IFA in Berlin. However, there does seem to be a discrepancy when it comes to the screen size. Based on an AnTuTu test, the pixel density and the screen resolution figures make sense if the display measures 4.7-inches. However, there are some reports stating that the device will feature a 5.7-inch display.

Perhaps we will see a 4.7-inch screen on a Huawei Mate 7 mini and a 5.7-inch screen on the Huawei Mate 7 Plus. That would make sense. Regardless, this certainly should be all cleared up at IFA next month.

Thanks for the tip!
